My hospital supplied them, but i did not think they were any good anyway. With my last baby i got one of the pads stuck on my thumb, and got zapped by it. Some people like them, but for me i didn't like the sensation.

Im a fan of TENS machines! With my daughter I used only TENS and gas and air and I found it helped me alot, I only needed it on a low setting (think it was number 3 out of for it to benefit me.......and the booster button is great during a contraction!

I rented one last time, your looking at around £25 for a 6 week rental (with extensions if you go overdue) but this time I looked on ebay first, I bought a used one, with 3 new packs of pads, for £21.....so thats cheaper than renting one and I get to keep it.....or sell it on. I'd recomend doing this, becuase if you rent one its gonig to be already used anyway so might aswell get one off ebay for roughly the same price anyway!

Ours arrived this week.

We got it from a website called tens2u I think, recommended by our MW. It only cost £20 and apparently they're great although obviously not tried yet but hoping to manage with only TENS and gas and air!
