Ive already taken off my wedding rings because the midwife said she was going to saw them off (no way Ill use lotion and live with the pain of getting these tiny rings off my sausage sized fingers) I havent got raised bp or any other syptoms other then the usual swelling of hands and feet. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Don't quote me but my midwife spoke about something called carpel tunnel syndrome, which apparently is when you have swollen hands and wrists this puts pressure on the nerves resulting in tingling and numb hands and fingers, don't think it is anything major to worry about, my midwife certainly wasn't

| I have this too and my midwife said the same - carpal tunnel syndrome. She said you can get a splint made for your wrists/hands but it's not worth it because by the time that's done you'll probably have had the baby.
It is painful though especially in the night and morning time. Guess it's just something we have to grin and bear till baby decides to show up! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I get this and it is carpel tunnel syndrome. Mine also comes with charming shooting pains up my arms, wakes me in the night, can't grip things properly, numb fingers and generally makes life a misery. BUT if you get to Boots they do splits for your wrist specifically for this, and if you wear them at night it does ease the discomfort! It makes you sleep with your wrist straight and this eases the pressure. I wouldn't bother unless you really start to suffer from it though as they're about £15. I only did cos mine started about 13 weeks, and I couldn't bear it for another 27! Hope it doesn't get any worse hon.
PS Yeah definitely don't wear rings! It can make your hands swell up even more! |

They used this special tool to saw it off. My rings can be fixed though.
Is your blood pressure good?
Could be signs of protein in the urine/Pre-clampsia.

Mello | Hi hun I did get my rings off hurt like hell my bp is fine and they've recently tested my urine and everything was fine there. I think like the other girls said its part of pregnancy just a really weird part |

She had me take two 24hr Urine test for protein. It went over a little on both test, but my pressure was good, so she never took the next step to induce my labor.
