So, here's the deal. I am 38 weeks pregnant with number 3. On Monday I was dilated to a 3 but still thick and the baby was pretty high up. Today I have been contracting since 8:30 this morning and it is now 5:15. Some of them hurt and some do not. The contractions will go for about an hour to an hour and a half at the same distance apart, but never anything over 6 minutes. Right now they have been every 2-3 minutes apart for an hour and they don't hurt hurt, but are uncomfortable. I can walk and talk unless it starts squeezing my bladder, then I have stop and let it pass. So, do yall think it is labor or just a bad case of BH's?

The only way you will no is if you call your mw but sounds like babies on his way

I thought that once you were at 3cms that was classed as active labour !!!
And contractions every 2-3 mins on top of that..... maybe you should go in !!

Well apparently whatever was going on decided to stop. I contracted evenly spaced for about 15 hours yesterday, but it quit. I hesitated on going to L&D because the contractions weren't hurting all of the time. I called L&D and they said to come in, but it just didn't feel like it was time, so I didn't. I think LO is having a hard time engaging. At my last sonogram at 32 weeks the sonographer said that LO's head was in very very large and in the 85th percentile. So, I'm wondering if he is not able to fit through my pelvis. I don't know. I see the doctor though on Monday, so maybe he can answer some questions for me then.
