I just woke up and went to the bathroom only to drip a few drops of dark red/brown blood! I haven't bled AT ALL not even spotted since my lmp 9 1/2 months ago so this is a shock to my eyes! I know I should call my doctor and I will shortly (I want to wait a bit and see if there's more or if it stops) but should I be concerned? Or is this fairly common late in pregnancy?

it could be the start of something as your so close to your due date!!!

Sorry hun I have no experience of this as Im on my first too!! Is it like bloody discharge like mucus plug?? or just blood??

Erm I know it's not normal unless you're close to labour! Maybe something's happening for you, congrats!

Sounds like it very well could be your bloody show. Which means a congrats could very well be in order very soon. But, I would check with my Dr or midwife just to make sure.
