I'm Currently Feeling: | Wide berth needed ..... also nicknames! Ok, is anyone else having the same problem?????
Twice yesterday, it happened. I went to get our dog out of his cage. On the door, there is a bit that sticks out for using the padlock with. As I opened the gate, bump!!!! Scrapped across my belly. Not hard but enough.
THEN getting in from work, I did exactly the same thing!!!!! Also, last night I opened a door and Bump inot my belly.
I never realised how big my belly had got, I now have to give everything a wide berth!!!!
So how many other people have gone into rooms, gone past things, etc, that you have done everyday for god knows how long and you know the clearage required, only to find that now you need a lot more clearage???!!!!
It's actually quite funny, but it does worry me that I could actually do some damage if I'm not careful at look out for objects/obstacles
OH hasn't laughed but has now come up with a new nickname for me ......... ......................................................... LUMPY!!!!!!!!! Of course, he knows I don't like it so calls it me more, I told him I would prefer bumpy or something like that but LUMPY!!!!!!! I'm not lumpy, I'm bumpy!!
Has your OH given you a nickname??? |

I know what you mean about forgetting that you have the bump. I'm forever trying to get through gaps that are now too small... I went to a play centre with the kids last week, and the way in was between two big foam rollers... I used to be able to get through them no prob.. but now ??!! Not a chance in hell !! I was quite embarrased that a Dad was behind me, and I had to turn back |
