I keep getting the same pains, make me jump too. But my MW has never checked whereabouts baby is by feeling. The only way I know which way up he is is from my scan that I had 2 weeks ago. Do your MWs feel which way up baby is at your appointments? |

| my midwife checks how baby is laying every time i see her.
i would of thought that your midwife would be checking how baby is laying now you are at 34 weeks coz they usually want to know if baby is engaged or not.

I'm Currently Feeling: | I completely know what you mean. It feels as if baby has got a fingernail poking around down there. From what I have read from some others though is that it is cervical pain. I guess like when your cervix starts stretching out a little or when bubs puts pressure on your cervix. That's what I've read, but I honestly don't know. |
