I'm Currently Feeling: | I just put a card game in mine (figured it'd help while away some of the time if I feel like playing that is) and a couple of word seeks |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Sounds about right to me! Oh.. you might want to consider creating an online birth plan to give to the doctors about how you want it done, etc. or a book that has info about birth. I'm also bringing a photo of family and some candles if they will let me light them, try to take away the pain a bit! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | What is a focus board? I'm assuming something to help you focus in labour but could you explain it a bit more? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Just some advice, only know this from anental classes last week.
Was advised to wear nighties for the first day or so as bleeding is so heavy and you cant help but have accidents (oh looking forward to this) idea of nighty is that you pull it up slightly when you get into bed so your not layng on it - then when accident happens you dont have to walk past the other 3 beds, who may have guests with it shwing - which you would if you had PJ's on. you slip your nighty down and peg it to the loo. Dont know if that something you have consiered. probably you have as the list is amazing - have saved to a word document and will refer back when i am closer to packing my bag.
Midwife also said try not to use your nice blankets as when baby is sick etc they will clear up the bundle of mess and it often gets wisked away - bye bye to nice, new and expensive blankets....
hope this is of some help | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hun that is alot of stuff!! If your having a normal delivery and don't expect to be in more than 1 or 2 days just take a few things and if you need more your husband can bring them in for you when he visits and take your laundry home with him. Plus by the time you've had the usual stream of visitors bearing gifts it's gonna take you a week to pack and get back out the hospital lol
One thing you didn't have on your list was a face cloth, it's great for freshening up and your husband can hold it on for you when you need to cool down. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I know !! And as much as he'd like people to think that it was just because he's gorgeous.... it was more to do with the fact that he went green and had to lay down on the floor in the hall !!!! |
