Morning girls well last night i got home and had this terrible feeling of pressure down below that's really hard to explain i keep trying but don't think i'm explaining it right anyway it feels like i'm sort of bruised downstairs but heavy like you've been riding a bike for ages and you're all battered, sorry crap i know but i really can't put it in words it's okay when i'm sat down but when i walk it's so uncomfortable/heavy mainly round my bits and bum i was at antenatal last night and mentioned it to the lady taking the class and she thinks maybe bubs has engaged anyone else get this? Was gonna phone my midwife and double check but was gonna give it a chance to settle out but just walked in from the train station to work and felt like i was walking like John Wayne! Thanks in advance as my thanks button dosen't work.

I've been sufffering with this to, last week was told I was 4 /5th's engaged so putting it down to the pressure of baby...

Thank god someone else has had it, did you find it really difficult to explain? I t's been driving me potty i have just phoned my midwife to see what she thinks so waiting on her returning my call.

i've had strange things going on there too! my midwife told me over a week ago my baby is 4/5 engaged but i reckon yesterday more was going on. i had pains around my 'bits' and i felt like the baby is so low - like he/she is going to fall out! i think he/she is engaging further now.

i have the clinic on friday so i guess i will discover if i am right!

Just spoken to my midwife and she said that yeah what i'm describing is the baby's head moving down into the pelvis and theres nothing i can do but ride it out and keep using my ball as it will take the pressure off so can't wait to get home from work! Just walked up to get some brekkie and it so uncomfortable i hope i aint got this for the next 7 weeks or else i will need to think about going on maternity early. ANyway thanks for your replies x

LOL..yeah, best I could do was a bruised achy pressure feeling, seems to have felt more one side than the other,..oh the joys
