I'm Currently Feeling:  |  uh oh... back from 40wk antinatal...briefly!
Just had my 40 week antinatal with my consultant any my BP was 158/105 ! Crikey! No protien tho and everything else was fine. I was literally cacking it after that news so everytime they rechecked my BP it went up and up.
I asked for a sweep and was told "maybe", and literally begged, to be given one!! Then my consultant came in and said she wanted to admit me over night with an induction booked for tomorrow, as neonatal have a free room as of tomorrow which i can move into for a few weeks, and it will be much easier for the surgical team to know when to be prepped and ready for Tom.
Now i am bricking it!!
As for the sweep, i have seen little girls with bigger hands so it was not painful at all, just a little uncomfy. Little achy now, but i dont expect it to do very much as my cervix was 1cm thick.
Wish me luck for a speedy induction and loads more luck that my little Tommy will come out kicking and screaming with little problems. I am literally terrified of his spina bifida!
I can't believe this is it...i am packing my bags and might not be back for two weeks! Gonna miss you all and thanks for the support!! Will keep text buddies (Rachel & Polo) updated!  to everyone and  scared but also on  . |
