I'm Currently Feeling: | Early/slow labour I've done some reading about symptoms of early/slow labour and I have the pains they describe (uncomfortable, period like pains starting in my back and spreading to my abdomen and thighs) I've been getting these on an off for 2 days. But I haven't yet lost my plug (that I've noticed) or any of my waters.
So am I in slow labour or just having yet more unnecessary pain? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | It definitely could be...my OB said that the only true way to tell the difference between real and false labor contractions is to see if there are changes happening in the cervix...have you had your cervix checked? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Good Luck!!! I have everything crossed for you!
I'm 38 and half weeks pregnant and my pregnancy has been fab, but I'm so fed up now I keep getting false contractions and pain. I rang the hospital and they think that I have been in slow labour for about 7 days now, but they said not to come in until my contractions were regular and established. I lost some mucus yesterday and bubs is moving well, but it's all stopped again now. I keep having contractions but they are so sporadic, so I do sympathize with you.
Fingers crossed that this is it for you, me on the other hand I think I might be like this right up until my due date LOL!
