| had 33 week appointment today....
had my 33 week appointment this morning at 9:30 - i left there at 11:30 there were suppost to be 3 Dr's in and there was only 1 so we were all waiting forever.
So far things seem ok, she's still cephalic her heartrate range was 126 - 148bpm. My BP was 119/75 which M/W said was fine. The said from the scan EFW was 2.19kg which is just above the 50th centile (at 28 week scan she was below 50th centile) so they are predicting at the 36 week scan she will be around 2.8-3kg so we'll wait and see what happens then.
I was suppost to get blood results from my last appointment but there wasn't enough in the sample for them to test (literally like getting blood out a stone trying to get it from me) so I need to have all the blood work repeated at 36 weeks
The consultant also wants me to take the GTT test on friday morning more bloods i'm not looking forward to. The M/W said she thought it was a waste of time me getting the GTT coz if there had been any sign on sugar they would have picked it up before now in my urine samples (which we have to take each appointment) but she said because the consultant recommended it then i may as well get it done.
My next scan is on the 22nd July and I have an appointment with the consultant at the hospital straight after it for them to check all the growth scans i've had done so that should be a fun day!
My antenatal classes start on Wednesday this week and run every wednesday for 2 hours through July. I also have a breastfeeding workshop on Thursday morning too so hopefully that will give me a better idea of what to expect. Then the wonderful GTT test first thing on Friday morning so another week of non stop running around to the surgery!
Never mind, its all for a good cause! |
