| Thank you for all your replies. Just a little update.
Jessica is doing really good. She is now 4 days old and is taking 40/60mls (alot more than she should be) every 3/4 hours. Her cord fell off yestarday morning, but has healed lovely midwife was happy with it yestarday. She sleeps most of the morning and then in the afternoon she is awake longer. The midwife is back tomorrow afternoon and hopefully they are going to weigh her, so I am praying she has put a little weight on, she should have with the amount of milk she takes lol.
As some of you may remember I was worried about my asthma playing up within a few days of giving birth, but the midwife and consultants werent that bothered about it. Well today my asthma has been playing up big style and I have had 3 mild asthma attacks. I have an appointment with my GP tomorrow about it, and hopefully he will be more concerned about it that the consultant at the hospital.
I have been doing fine until today, woke up this morning with my right foot swollen to double the size it is normally and now the bottom of my leg is swollen too, I cannot even get my shoe or slipper on it. The backache is also back but I can cope with that and my boobs have got 2 sizes bigger and are very tender.
Otherwise we are both ok. Been trying to upload the photos we have taken so far but my computer keeps crashing in the middle of it. As soon as I have them uploaded I will post them.
Thanks again for your replies. |
