They have to check my cervix each time I go in (every two weeks) to make sure I am not going in pre-term labor, I guess that is an internal? Doesn't hurt but I know they don't do that with everyone. Just lucky I guess. Ha!

i had one at 6weeks cause i had a bleed it didnt hurt one bit,

i think its normally when u have ur over due appt at ur doctors. i had mine 2day thou as im 3 days over but she didnt offer me 1 just booked my induction date. i had 1 last time round it didnt hurt but i didnt like it if you get what i mean??!

I have had to get lots done, its the most horrible experience i've ever imagined but if it means the docs knowing were my bodies at then i just know to grit my teeth an deal with it xx

The first time anyone messed with my bacon!!
Was when i was 5 days overdue with my son. I had a membrane sweep which wasn't the most pleasant thing in the world but it didn't hurt, was just uncomfortable. But the midwife also told me i was 2cm dilated which cheered me up no end!! Had my son 4 days later.
