I'm Currently Feeling:  | Unexpected C-Section - 4 July
Well I had some liver function tests as I am very itchy and have swollen hands and feet and they suspected OC (there is a sticky post at the top about this).
Anyway bloods came back fine and I had a growth scan, during which they found that my baby is actually breech when I've always been told it was head down! As I'm 38 + 4 they've decided not to delay and have booked me in for a c-section on 4 July. It is hospital policy that it is safer to deliver breech babies by c-section.
We found out on Friday so it was a bit of a shock but I think I've got my head round it now and I get to meet my LO on 4 July at 39 + 1 so a little early and at least now I don't have to worry about going overdue.
I've been struggling with my hips and walking for a long time through the pregnancy to the stage now where I don't get about much at all and when they found baby is breech said its probably been contributing as with the bum on my pelvis its been putting extra pressure! | | | | Status: Offline
