I'm Currently Feeling: | Naps & Kids don't go together! I just had a 3 hour preschool party this morning, and have the afternoon with just me and my son as my daughter was being taken home with her classmate/friend for a play date after her school was done.
An hour ago, I just couldn't keep my eyes open so I settled my son on the computer to play games and told him that I had to lay down and not to wake me. He walks me over to the couch, sits back at the computer and 2 seconds later asks for help.
I laid back down on the couch and was awakened to Jayden telling me that he's going outside and that I can go back on the computer. Of course, I woke up quickly as I don't want him going outside by himself but turns out the kids next door are home.
Seems I got 15 minutes of nap time. LOL Right about now I need a few hours.
It's just been crazy around here lately and I am exhausted. Can't quite sleep in the next few days as my son is in the city parade tomorrow a.m. and then there is a summer fair on Sunday at his preschool. Of course, it doesn't end there but finally things will wind down after Tuesday of next week.
I am exhausted! |

Poor Dan has been working until 10 every night and I had to break it to him that he has to get up early today so we can take Jayden to the parade and then a fair on Sunday. Poor guy too!
However, he just can't miss these things. Especially when he doesn't come to many school events as it is due to the businesses. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I know exactly how you feel. I am exhausted aswell, my 3 year old is always on the go and no longer needs a nap in the day and is always up nice and early. I'm struggling with one child and being pregnant, never mind two children!! |

It was alright when I had Mikey, I took the advice "Sleep when they sleep" Very seriously, isn't going to happen this time! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | No I don't like to do it either but I just couldn't keep my eyes open. It was hot and muggy outside yesterday too and it tired me out even more than I was already. At least he wakes me up to tell me something important, like going outside. That's not the issue at all. I am happy with 15 minutes naptime just to ensure my child is safe.
After the parade I will be a couch potato for the rest of the day or try to. |
