As some of you know oxsarahxo sadly lost her baby girl Jessica Charlotte Reay hours after giving birth. We are arranging a star to be named after Jessica and a lantern for her resting place from all of us. We also thought it would be nice to make a contribution to Sarah & Matt so they can use it towards flower arrangements, head stone or resting place arrangements. If you would like to contibute please PM me for details. | Nesting instinct? I've been so busy this week!!! I have this urge to ensure my hospital bag is all ready and decided to assemble the cotbed (with OH) and get everything ready. I reach 35 weeks tomorrow although my OH's GP remarked today that it looked like I was ready to give birth any time. Scan on Thursday showed my LO is weighing 5lbs, 11oz.
My OH said I have seemed to kick into overdrive with trying to sort the house out. I am going to rearrange under the bathroom sink tomorrow because it is something I feel needs to get done. I've already done the kitchen cabinets!!!
I wonder if this is a sign I am going to give birth on time or right before my due date? | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've been the same all week... started with me and OH having a mass spring clean of the whole house last saturday! Been washing and washing all week...
..and of course, like I put in my thread, I hoovered the tumble dryer yesterday!!!!
I'm normally quite lazy when it comes to cleaning (except for the kitchen, which has to be spotless... I almost have OCD with it!!) but I have never cleaned as much as I have this week in my entire life!!!
I am soooooooooooooo ready for Beany's arrival now it's untrue! |

| I have always been into keeping my place clean and been a bit of a homemaker, but I even sorted out our storage room and have done the baseboards, etc. I have the cotbed all made up, mobile attached, moses basket ready and will be finishing ironing all the sheets this weekend.
However, you are further along than I am and I think at your stage I can understand it.
I read about the tumble dryer! That is extreme even for me!!!! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I can't seem to get motivated to do a damn thing yet. Yes, I do things but no motivation for the bigger things that need doing.
Doesn't help I've been running with my head cut off lately with end of the year school parties etc. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've been through this stage, we got everything all put together (car seat, stroller, bouncer, swing, crib, changing table and pack and play). Everything in the nursery is finished except we need to clean the carpet (which we are about to do, maybe this weekend) and put handles on the dressers. I have some clothes yet to put away (maybe I'll do that tonight if I don't get lazy ). Mine and LO's hostpital bags are almost packed and ready to go in the car along with the car seat.
I went extreme last week with cleaning our house because my baby shower was there. I think I wore myself out doing it because I have been coming home all week just tired as can be and there were days where I just didn't feel good. Moving around and doing things gets more complicated day by day. I try to keep our house up to my standards as much as possible, but I have let go. I am still working full time so when I get home, I am pooped. You can come and clean our house if you get bored. |

But, before I went on maternity leave, all I wanted to do was sleep nevermind do anything else!!! No wonder you do not have the energy. | | | | Status: Offline
