constant sharp stabbing pain

i have got a really bad pain low down in right side which is not subsiding and really hurts when i move i initally thought i might be a contraction but it isnt disappearing anyone else had this xx

I had gas pains like that last week. I was nearly convinced things were starting but it was just a cruel tease. Hope it stops for you soon.

I think ive had the same sort of thing the last 2 nights in bed. Its like in the V area,sharp pains and if i touch there its very tender,almost as if maybe im touching LO's head??? god knows.
I thought it was maybe my bump being so heavy and me laying awkwardly at the time like a strain but now you have it im thinking differently.........fingers crossed xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Just make sure you watch it because sharp stabbing pains on your right side could also indicate appendicitis..,prob not, I'm sure things are just crowded, but I'm a worry wart so I would ask my Dr.

I was having that pain last week. The MW said it is a really common complaint, the stabbing pain on the right side... although, for you it could mean something completely different as you are overdue

If the pains are not subsiding I would contact your midwife as soon as possible it might be nothing.

I had the exactly the same pain when I was pregnant with my youngest son and it turned out that the pains were caused by him pulling on his cord which was also dropping his heartbeat to 50 and causing me to have contractions which were being picked up on the monitor but I couldnt feel them, all I could feel was this pain.
