I'm Currently Feeling: | Good luck Rachel... My sons name is going to be Jaedan (Jayden) too I have no idea what you're going through but I know how it feels to be anxious as hell and have nothing done about it. I wish you all the best and hope that your little boy decides to make his entry soon. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Rachel, I hope you don't have much longer to wait. Your fantastic for hangin in there and as for your exam, your education can wait your baby can't.
As soon as your pains get worse and become regular, no matter what the interval between them are I would get going to hospital. xx |

your teachers are being ridiculous if you have sat all of your exams except one you should be entitled to a ECF ( extinuating circumstances form - means they will take your circumstances into consideraton when marking so you may get a higher grade) ive just missed one of my exams due to illness and as long as you give them some written info from the hospital they can send that to the exam board and they will give you an ecostat which is an average grade according to your other results, yes its extra paperwork for school but its yours and jayden's future there messing with. If I could get one for having a dodgy gallbladder my god your entitled!!!! yep.... just rang my mums friend to check he works for offstead ( the inspection people) and they can do more than there telling you. Good luck sweetie fingers and toes crossed that the pain is over soon and you'll have your lil boy in your arms xxxxxxx
sorry its so long just felt frustrated youve had to go through so much extra stress |
I spoke to one of my teachers an he has said that he can try an get them to consider using my last years 'mock' exam which i guess is better than nothing, just can't remember what grade i got for it because i took it when i was having a rough time at home, i didn't try my hardest but i know for sure its better than nothing.
Thanks for pushing me in the right direction girls, it means a lot just hope i'm holding my little stubborn man soon but i guess he must need some more cooking in there hey lol xxx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm an exams officer in a high school and ashleigh's right. You are entitled to what's known as 'special consideration'.
You will need something in writing from your m/w or GP but it's very straight forward. It's one simple form for the exams officer tofill in. The exam board will ask for mock papers and any other evidence and take this and your coursework in to account.
Make sure you chase them to do it while you can darling as they only have 7 days to submit it. I can send you a copy of the form if you want to print it off and thrust it under their noses!!

edited to include link: http://www.edexcel.org.uk/VirtualCon...sideration.doc | Thanks will speak to my mentor at school, he could possible sort something out for me.
Things rather hectic at school at the min because a really good teacher has just lost his battle to cancer and its his funeral soon and teachers are just not themselves an not concentrating, which is understandable because he was so loved by everyone, one of those teachers you know, they go out there way to help you an make you smile, one of the teachers who is down to earth but could be a nark when he wanted to lol.
(RIP DAVIE HOWARTH, My hearts with your wife an baby x)
Just want everything done and sorted so i can forget about exams and concentrate fully on me an bubs.
