I seem to have lost it everywhere, except of course, the belly... even my boobs have stayed the same.. maybe even shrunk a bit !! And I don't feel as uncomforable about wearing little vests, as the top of my arms have thinned too... It's Fab !!! |

| Evans and Simplybe have made a lot of money from me. I usually wear a lot of black, so that is fine with me. I found the maternity clothes were not for me since I wear mainly skirts and dresses. Why do they always insist on trousers or jeans in maternity clothes? | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I bought 5 or 6 nursing tops for after but I figure I will still be in some maternity stuff for a little while. I also pulled out some of my "fat" clothes- stretchy/loose pants and longer shirts. I also plan to use my bella bands a lot! Luckily, I don't have to go out in public much so I don't have to really dress up much. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm going to primark on Friday... The one in Oxford is closing for a refurb and have a huge SALE ( if that's possible for Primark !! ). Someone started a thread about som Nighties they're selling for £2-£3... long ones with button tops, so I'm gonna get me some for breastfeeding |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I said that I didn't want to buy any maternity clothes because it would cost extra money, which right now we cannot afford. I tried shopping for some anyways and I just ended up all sore from walking around and finding nothing that I liked. I just bought a couple pairs of yoga pants, one dress and one top with empire waistlines, a pair of tights and a long loose dressy type shirt. These are not maternity clothes, but they fit great and are so comfortable. Plus, I'll be able to wear them after baby as well. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I haven't bought a whole lot of maternity clothes (you only wear them for so long). A lot of people let me borrow things. I just mainly have 3 or 4 t-shirts and two dressier shirts. I have 2 pairs of capris and two pairs of jeans and one pair kacki pants and one nursing bra (which I have been wearing since I grew out of my regular bras). I don't plan on buying new clothes any time soon. I know that I won't get back into my pre-pregnancy clothes right away, but I have two pairs of jeans that I may be able to get into (I bought them a size or two bigger when I could wear normal pants). I'm sure I will depend on those and will probably have to wear my maternity shirts until I lose some weight.
I plan on eating clean after the baby is born and gradually work my way back into an excercise routine. I can't stand the way I look and desperately want to get back into my old clothes. So many people at work have made many comments about my weight (good and bad) so I want to come back to work looking good or half the size I am now. It will take a lot of discipline and dedication, but I know I can do it if I put my mind to it. It's not an option to buy "new bigger" clothes. I'm sick of being big. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I just went to look for something dressy to wear for my stepdaughter's grade 7 grad and I actually went into a normal clothing store. The bonus is that the style right now is a lot like maternity clothes. The shirts are mostly babydoll type shirts. I bought a sweater in a size bigger and a nice top to go underneath.
A lot of the skirts right now have waistbands too.
So, yeah, maternity clothes are boring but you may find something more suitable in a normal clothing store. |
