| even if they do start to go down they can come up again until they're 2/5 engaged (only two fifths of the head felt). My LO went down to 3/5 at 34 weeks then at my 36 week he'd come out a bit, and gone back in and was 4/5. Like others have said, it doesn't seem to make much difference (although I'd be disappointed if at my next appointment he's 5/5!) |

I'm Currently Feeling: | hurts like hell when they do move down tho!! Then it takes a day or two to get used to it, before they go down even further! Not sure whether it is better if they engage or not! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | one of the pregnancy books i have recommended the SpinningBabies website. they have tips on stuff you can do to help get your baby into position and come out easier. i guess the lady that runs the site is trying to organize it better, it was down just after i tried to show it to my mom, but most of the info is back up. |

It differs for everyone, but I think with your first it can happen anytime from about 34 weeks, although I could be wrong.
