what if your waters break in the bath


how do you know that your waters break if they break in the bath???

lol i know a stupid q probs but wondered

I know i was wondering the same with swimming......

Planning to go swimming a few weeks back with my 37 week pregnant front... day before her waters broke!!!

What if it had happened in the pool?!?

I'm Currently Feeling: 


You would still know, becasue when you get out it would still be coming out. It is one initial big gush, but the water keeps leaking out until delivery. My water was broken for 3 days and leaked the whole time.

Also, I hear most of the time your waters are warm, if you're in a cool-ish bath you should feel them if they happen to come out with a huge gush.

I've wondered this too - I'm not convinced I'd know, what if I'm already in a hot/warm bath anyway? And some women's waters break early and don't have contractions - so if I were in the bath and they broke and I didn't have contrations - I would never know?

Unless its true for everyone that it still trickles out after the initial big gush?

Oh now I'm confusing myself!
