I'm Currently Feeling: | Washing Baby clothes ok i feel a little stupid for asking this but....
what do you use for washing your baby clothes, like to you use special stuff just for the baby or just what you would normally use? I know you can get special ones for baby clothes so that they are extra soft and therefore are less likely to irritate baby's skin but do you really need to use them? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think most people just use a non bio detergent and fabric softener. I use fairy tablets and comfort fabric conditioner. |

| I've been looking for washing powder for babies. Apparently there is some here but I haven't been lucky enough to find it. There are loads of different brands that make a baby softener so I'll use that. I'll just keep looking for a washing powder that works. I can also ask a few friends what they use. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | thanks being that i live with my other half & his mum, his mum does the washing normally and if shes away he does it so i never really have to do it, lucky me, i only really put it out bring it in & sometimes iron! I know im a lazy bum tis great! the people i used to live (and looked after me) with said i had to buy special baby washing stuff (not that i ever believe what she says) but I'm sure that if the baby doesnt get irritated by what we normally use then its better to use that so that they get used to it?? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I just use our normal detergent and Caitlyn is fine with it. Its biological but i think it just depends on your baby. Some babies skins are more sensitive than others. I'd say just wash a few bits out in your washing powder if you are unsure, just to test it.
