Does you LO still have quiet days?

So here we are. 35th week.

LO has been like a kick boxing champ recently. but since last night he's been quiet. Not 100% quiet, and he's probably just about hitting his 10 movements in 2 hours or whatever it's meant to be...but thats with me giving him the occasional rub to wake him up. Every time I woke in teh night he was quiet - I felt him once of his own accord (without mother waking him).

I'm begining to feel in a bit of a flap about it...

and it was only yesterday I saw the doc for my regular appointment and saw his heart beating and all was ok....

is it normal for him to have a lazy day?

My LO is always on the go but maybe once/twice a fortnight she'll have a day where she can't really be bothered. If you can still count your 10 movements there shouldn't be anything to worry about

i wouldnt worry at all

I think its normal. Mine has days where I get the feeling he is not going to stop wriggling and then other days where I think "has he moved today?"

They have got less and less space to wriggle around as much now, so are prob slowing down a bit to prepare themselves for coming out!

I think its normal! I have days where I really worry because I can't feel much at all and I think something might be wrong because for the last X amount of days she has been active ALL day long! I guess they must have lazy days like us! x

Definitely! LO usually keeps me awake in the night but ive not felt her since 6pm last night.

I agree with Scuba - think they must have lazy days like we do!

thanks girls. he's still unsettlingly quiet. I woke him up a minute ago by rubbing the belly and he wriggled for like 1 second and then seemed to sleep again.
I just had a big lunch and will now have something sugary.
If he doesnt wake up by the time I leave work perhaps I'll stop by a doctors surgery on my way home and see if they can listen to his heart...I'm getting frightened.

***OOH UPdate - he woke up! not going mad but definately moving. ooh such a relief!!***

My doctor told me to not even bother counting movements unless you're high-risk, because just like us some babies like to lie around all day and you'll just worry yourself sick.
