Well this morning just what i thought was going to be a quick visit to the midwife to check, bp, babys hb, urine etc.
Appointment time 10.30, thought i would get there bit early just in case they were'nt busy (who was i kiddin) after sitting in the waiting room scortching hot and having head ache the mw finally called me in at..........11.50.........
fuming i was.
i sat down and she checks urine (was fine) then she asks me to lie down so she can feel bump and listen to babys HB (all fine), then she checks my BP, the look on her face was not good, she asks me if i have any swelling (well obviously i have just sat on a uncomfortable chair for the best half of 2 hours).
Then she said that my BP was 145/100 (not surprising waiting all that time gettin wind up, what did she exspect) she said i need to go straight to the hospital cos she was not happy about letting me go home with it like that.
Anyways picked mum up and she drove me there, was waiting 20 min(thank god) they checked my urine Again (fine) they also put fetal monitor on to checks babs (she sounded swell) she took my blood pressure and by that time was slowly coming down, so she said to go home and take another tablet and rest (easily said than done with three children under 6)
Back home now, hubby made tea and looked after children bless him.....
So turned out to be one busy day.......but at least all is ok with babs..
