I'm sure you'll be ok. I'm terrified of going into labour in like tescos or something! Or while I'm doing my driving test!!

I think people think because we´re getting closer to our due dates, we´ve got to barricade ourselves in the house until LO comes.

My maternity leave starts on Weds, but I´ve been off work for a good 4 weeks already as I had holiday owed that I had to take beforehand - if I hadn´t been going out and about everywhere, I´d have gone up the wall.

My MIL made a snide coment that I never answer the phone when she rings - insinuating I can see that its her ringing, which actually I can´t cos we aint got one of those phones. I was like, well I´m out and about all the time, just cos I´ve finished work, doesn´t mean I have to stay at home all the time, I´m preggers, not ill!!

If you´re still able to get out and about easily, then go for it - it will be the last time for a while that we can just nip out when we feel like it!!

I wish i could stay in more but with 3 other kids needing taxi rides everywhere i dont get that privilege lol. Wouldnt mind so much but driving is becoming a real pain in the backside trying to wedge myself behind the steering wheel lol

The older generation tend to worry a lot more than us. I'm forever being given disapproving looks for painting, going up ladders (only little ones doing the nursery!!!) or for just generally living a normal life.
My neighbour told me the other day that painting is not good for the baby...oh good grief - it's not smelly paint, and paint doesnt have lead in it like it used to. I told her it was fine and she looked at me like I was rediculously modern and irresponsible...drives me nuts

It's funny how people are always saying don't lift too much or take it easy. My boss (who is really laid back and is cool and all) always tells me to take it easy. He was supposed to get me a temp to train at work and never got one. I got put on bed rest a couple of weeks ago (only for one day). He freaked out cause I was gone. I thought then he would be getting someone in here for me to train and he still hasn't and I don't think he has any intentions to. Bed rest is still on the table for me (if my doc doesn't like what he sees). Also, my work load is just as heavy as always. The only person who knows how to do my job is on vacation until next week. I have a feeling my stress test isn't going to be good tonight (I could be wrong though). People amaze me.
