Moses basket or crib?

Ladies I am really confused!!
Dont know if we should get a moses basket, crib or both??

We are planning to keep baby in our room for the first 3/4 months & then it will go into its own room..

Q is if we buy the crib & keep in our room then where does baby lie when downstairs? With moses basket you'd take it down with u in the morning wouldnt u?

Pls help, we are due to go shopping tmw & now im so confused!

really? DH was saying maybe we should get a crib & moses basket but that'll just be spending extra money for no reason me thinks.
How long can u keep them in the moses basket? And when can u put them in the cot?

hmm in that case it sounds like we can keep baby in moses basket until its ok to go in cot? We might be ok with that combination then?

So you want baby in the room with you for the first 3-4 months.. do you mean sleeping in the same bed as you? If so, don't get the moses basket, he'll outgrow it in less than 6 monthsish.

NO way in the same bed as us!! I am a violent nutcase in bed & often end up kicking & punching my poor DH!!
Baby will be in our room for first 3/4 months but in a moses basket... after that it will go in a cot in its own bedroom..
