I'm Currently Feeling:  | 40 Week Appt.
Just got back from the docs. Water did NOT break, just lots of discharge. When I gave the urine sample there was even blood in it, doc said it was normal. I'm a 'tight 3cm' dilated, he said my cervix was 'very ripe', whatever that means, lol! He did a sweep (not as painful as I thought it would be, but pretty uncomfy, that's for dang sure!) and said that it might help. He also scheduled an....induction  . If she's not born, my induction will be Friday, June 13. He asked if that date was okay with me, I figure since I own 3 black cats it would be just fine and even quite fitting actually! PLUS...MY doctor..the one who gave me the clomid, did my HSG and all my fertility stuff, who I've only gotten to see ONCE since getting PG is on that weekend  . Is it weird that I'm hoping LO will hang on another week so I HAVE to be induced?!?! I'm weird! |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | omg im as far as you and my sweep isnt even booked for another week haha Friday 13th aswell  gosh was wondering why i didnt get offered one today actually  cos i had appointment this morning but she just did my BP and weight etc ARGH!!!!!!!!!!! |

My doc asked if I wanted him to do one, I said if it was gonna hurt then heck no. When he was seeing if I was dilated he was like, "It would be REALLY easy to do one right now..." so, he did it. I hope your LO comes soon! |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | That's great you got a sweep today (or as my OH said, "a brush", when he was telling someone what I'm getting next week, lol)
If you cervix is ready and your already 3cm I doubt you'll still be hanging around next Friday.
You've made me all jealous now getting yours done today, I was told to come back next tuesday, think I'll pop in to the unit tomorrow and ask them to do one NOW!!! |
