Painful bump?

Hey ladies, my first post in 3rd tri - woo!

Not sure how to explain this, but all last week esp. after a meal my bump went really hard, and I really felt like my skin was going to burst - it felt absolutely stretched to the max! Then it was so uncomfortable and I was feeling short of breath.

Also I've had really sore bits on the side, like a really sore bruise, and it even hurt when I pressed the sore bit, this has been happening for a few days now, and starting to get concerned incase baby can feel the pain too?

My m/w appt isn't until next week - should I be concerned, and go sooner or is it normal?

Call the delivery suite or a doctor and ask them.

sounds like BH to me!! I shouldnt worry unless it gets really painful, in which case i would call the labour ward.

Ive been having this too! Ive had BH a few times but this was quite painful whereas with BH bump just went hard. Not sure what it is hun but will be watching this thread closely! xx

i havent had them with pains but I know what you mean about bump being soooo tight and hard you feel like your gonna pop open!!!

Hope your MW eases your concerns!!!

My bump goes hard usually at night, I just assumed it´s BH.

Sounds like BH to me too. But if you are really worried or if they get worse it can't hurt to give your MW a quick call

It sounds like BH (tight bump) and round ligament pain (soreness, bruised feeling) on the sides of your bump.

I've had similar pains where my skin has felt stretched when my bump goes really hard. It's prob BH but phone your MW if you're worried
