| Great advice Ragirl. I'm not one to just sit around and do nothing. On Friday, I did a load or two of laundry and loaded the dishwasher (nothing major). On Saturday, me and my husband went shopping and we were gone all morning. I got a lot of walking in, my feet hurt when I got home so I rested for a little bit then we went out to eat and I came home and rested some more. Sunday I didn't do hardly anything, but I felt wore out so I just stayed in my recliner all day. Monday, after my stress test, we went to Home Depot and walked around for about an hour. Then I came home and swept the kitchen floor, did some laundry, vacuumed the living room and split entry way.
My eating needs to be better (especially on weekends). During the week I usually have a bowl of cereal for breakfast, for lunch I have been eating homemade chicken salad sandwiches with chips and for dinner I've been trying to eat a small piece of meat with some kind of veggie. Also been trying to eat more fruit. I normally drink water all day long, but I also have my cup of coffee in the mornings and have some pop at night (which I need to stop).
Today I have had some cramping on and off so I have been worried about that. I want to go walking, but been afraid to do anything since the doc told me to rest (which I really haven't been doing anyways). LO has been moving like crazy today so it makes me feel more at ease that he is active. Thank you for the advice, I really need to change my diet it has gotten pretty poor (in my eyes). |
