Hi all

I was just wondering how long the period type pains can go on for? ages or does this mean it could be time soon?

Mine started on saturday (and i couldnt check on here!!argh!) It started like period pain how i used to get it in my hips and back then moved round to the front too all over down by the V/bikini area followed by really stong pains at middle and top of my bump......not sure if these were BH or contractions.
Anyway they went on all day and evening then slowly wore off before i got to bed.
Sunday i got the same in the evening for a while.
No pains yesterday or today so far but the period type pains are pretty constant but just varying degrees.

How is everyone else doing with this?

I've been having the same pains for over a week now. They're pretty much all the time, sometimes a little worse, sometimes a little better. Not sure WHAT they are though...

I wanted to ask this same question at the weekend when site was down lol!!!!

I'll be tracking this post with interest as REALLY hope it means LO will be along before toooooo much longer!!! x

Hehehehe... I'm on day 12.

I have contractions every 3 minutes for 12-14 hours at a time. With pressure and period pains all the time.

Been loosing mucous plug in small chunks (TMI ).

I've been to the hospital 2x both at 2cm dialated and mushy.

Yep same here. Day 7. Sounds like the same pain that im getting. Sorry its not better news hun!

However they wont look at me at the hospital so I don't know if Im even effaced/dilated yet (not that it seems to make a lot of difference) and his head isnt even fully engaged yet, so I think Im in for the long haul.

Just started getting them too, although not with any regularity. Hmmmm. Wonder what's happening in there? Good luck to everyone!

I started getting them on weekend, When i went to bed i couldn't sleep cause of the pain.

I had period pains for about a month at least before I went into labour but to me labour pains felt like really bad period pains too.

Oh noooooo thats not nice, I wanted to hear that any minute now we'd all have our babies arriving lol!!!
Looks like I'll keep on with the fresh pineapple and hope and pray for an early one!! x
