Is this normal??

Yes, its another question from me, what a suprise!!
Was just wondering if its normal for baby movements to suddenly get less when you're around my stage of pregnancy? (I'm 36+6)
I'm still having movements today, had a few at about 7am, then again just before lunch and now I'm feeling a little bit of movement as I'm sitting here typing, but nothing like I have been getting the past week or so! LO was going round and round like a ballerina over the past few days - just wondered if this slow down in movement is just because of her growing and not having much room left or whether I should be worried?
I'm always worried about bubba though lol, I just want her here now!!!

Sorry for being a stressball, any thoughts welcome! x

Yeah it's normal for their movements to slow down but as long as you're still getting something then everything is fine I think the 'rule' is 10 movements in 12 hours you're supposed to feel.

I was at the hospital last week and they said the 10 movements in 12 hours to me but not sure if it's the same as you're a lot further on than i am, sorry to confuse you further!

It could well be LO has less space or maybe tired from moving around so much the day before?

If you are worried then go to the hospital to get checked out or give your midwife a call, you could start keeping a little count from now of how often you feel a movement...? it might ease your worries and you would probably be surprised that LO is moving a lot more than 10 times in 12 hours.

I think its the same further on, I was told at my 38 wk appointment last week 10 in 12 hours. And its not 10 groups of movements, it's 10 actual movements. If that makes sense!

Thankyou all - I don't know what I'd do without you lot to ask my every worry to!! If I rang my midwife with every question I've asked on here then she'd def think I was a total fruit cake!!!

Thanks all SO much! x
