Scary, horrible experience last night

Lastnight i was feeling really sick and dizzy so i didnt eat much dinner and went to bed. About 2am Rhys woke up so i went to give him a drink of water. I was still feeling really sick so went to the bathroom to see if i needed to throw up.

On my way to the bathroom my chest all of a sudden started hurting and seconds later i couldnt breath and i had sharp stabbing pains in my upper back between my shoulder blades and in my chest area. I stumbled to the bathroom and threw up about 5 times until i was just dry-heaving. The pain in my chest got so bad i had to lie on the bathroom floor and i couldnt get up.

After about 10min i forced myself to try and get back to the bedroom so i could tell Colin what was going on. I was shaking all over and sweating like a pig.. Colin told me to lie down on our bed and try to calm down because by this point i was panicking so much and still couldnt breathe without severe pain. So i lay on the bed, tried to calm down and started taking long, shallow breaths.

20min later i was still in pain and was about to call the hospital, i told myself to wait just a few more minutes to see if i could just concentrate on breathing. A full 25 minutes later the pain started to go away and i could breathe more normally.

It took until 7 this morning for the pain to completely go away and i only managed half an hours sleep whilst Colin took Rhys downstairs

I have been having pains in my chest, nothing like that though! If it happens again I'd get it checked out.

OMG that sounds awful,i hope you are ok.
Can you get someone to take Rhys off your hands today so you can rest and concentrate on yourself for a while?

I had a bout of violent sickness last week when i napped one afternoon and got up too quickly for the phone. Sudden burning in chest followed by extreme vomiting and sparkles in the eyes. I just put it down to heartburn/reflux and when you panic it makes it worse.

Take it easy and stock up on settlers and rennies....i take about 6 when im reading in bed before sleep!
