I'm Currently Feeling: | Good grief… Went into the hospital Fri having contractions less than 5 min apart for over an hour. Well after three hours they sent me home to continue labor until the pain came. We moved on Sun and I I was on the go all day up until 11pm or so. Still nothing Continued movement and organizing Mon and even had intercourse and still nothing I've lost the disgusting plug in globs over the days too... baby is just not ready I suppose. I'm almost 39 weeks. The hospital says I could go anytime (if we only knew when) and they said because my body is already used to contracting that this won't be an easy labor, shheesh. Any who I just wanted to share my experience so far for any that may be a able relate to the frustration of the unknown.

BABY LABOR DUST!!! | I've never heard this before... BH, and practice contractions help labor along! THATS WHY YOU'RE 3cm and 75% EFFACED.
Don't listen to that... sounds like hogwash to me. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Really.. I got taught that your BH are your bodys way of dialating early, softening your cervix, etc. And that that makes labour alot easier since your body doesn't have to do it all during labour. It's like early preparations. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Sounds like it will be soon! I also thought that the contractions started getting things moving early (why you are already 3cm and 75% effaced!). And that actually shortened labor time since you were already that far ahead of the game than if you started from 0cm. Good luck tho, I hope its soon!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hope things get going for you soon! And I agree, you've already done a lot of the work, so when things do get going you'll have a quicker time of things. People say the silliest things sometimes! |
