Sorry to hear you are having such a terrible time with things. It has to be so overwhelming, especially if you feel so alone. So please come back to the forum- lean on the lovely ladies here! There is no need for you to go it all alone. You have friends all over the world here.

I know the feeling, i relised i was pregnant quite late (how i can not relise i had missed like 3 periods i dont know but i managed it,lol) so when i did i was very deparate to see a midwife but of course by then it was christmas time and christmas and GPs and hosps do not mix so i was given the no. for the liason midwife at the hosp who didnt get back to me untill i had managed to get a appointment at my normal health centre so i ended up with 2midwifes! now i have one who is lovely lucky me

You could go it alone and not get them involed some women do but it is very much not adviseable. I would go to your nearest hosp and see if they can get someone to see you as soon as poss and always get it done there if poss. esp if something went wrong.

if you need to talk feel free to talk to me!

silly+podge: I never tracked my cycle since I was told I could never have children. I thought I was starting menopause since I am 39. My fiance kept track because he wanted to know when he needed to put on a tin hat and run for cover. So, I can believe how you did not know.

Thanks for the advice. I am speaking to the hospital midwives today after my growth scan. They have always been fantastic and hope they can help me sort this out. My midwife has still not called me back although I left a message.

. I really feel for you. I don't have a good relationship with my mum or any family members and at times I feel really jealous when I see daughters/mothers with really strong bonds. I haven't spoken to my mum since last June and couldn't really careless any more to be honest with you.

I have a lovely husband and his sister is going to be coming over (he is foreign) to be with me before and after the birth to help out as I am overwhelmed and she just wants to help me (bless her).

I hope you are okay sweetie and get a chance to talk to your doctor.

I know what you mean by feeling jealous. I am slowly getting over my mom and grandmother being the way they are. However, we cannot change other people, right? But, my father has really come around even if we are not close. He is coming right after the birth and said it is my mom and grandmother's loss. My dad is from Greece and the whole family is there (I do not speak to them, either), but he lives in California. It is funny how non-family members are more willing to be there, isn't it? As for my midwife, well, it seems she sent me a new appointment, but I never received it. I have a new date set. But, all is well and I am feeling more upbeat this week.
