my DH thinks I am crazy...

so girls I decided to raise the topic of perineal massage with DH yesterday and I got a very strange look; "he said if thats what you want to do don't let me stop you but I think it is a bit strange..."

the cheek! so I showed him all your pics of finished nurserys (our is still full of his autographs and needs stripped and painted and furniture bought and assembled...and I am now 34 week!) and that shut him up

lol!

I brought it up with my OH and he said 'No way, you can do that yourself' so I told him he'd have to run around after me for 6 weeks while my stitches heal.

Hehe if its not for a sexual reason which benefits them they snub it.
I mentioned to my BF about it the other day that a lot of women on here will be doing it and he looked scared!!

Ask your DH's why he would not be willing to do something that will make your birth a better experience, the stretching really does help keep your tear rate down. If they are uncomfortable with this, in the privacy of your own bedroom, how are they going to handle you being in labor, legs akimbo, and your lovely bits on display? With a head coming out? Seriously some men! It takes just a few minutes at night, and the benefits are huge!
