Sick burning my throat?

I was just sick the tiniest little bit, but it burnt my throat and my mouth. I dunno if it was acid from my chest? It has made me feel awful!

I got this the other night, it was horrible. Heartburn tablets work (rennies or whatever we're allowed to take.. can't think what they're called) work pretty well if you can't drink milk.

I also found that brushing my teeth or using mouthwash clears it up for a while Might be worth a try.

I get this as well, and find Tums really helps. Water won't as it will dilute the acid in your stomach making it produce more. Even knowing that, a glass of ice water always makes me feel better. I also find that not over eating, or trying to laydown too soon after eating or drinking helps keep it in check.

Yuck...I get this too!! Usually in the middle of the night and it wakes me up...as though the 500 plus trips to the loo is not enough to keep me awake. I just take some heartburn stuff to sort it out, but my throat always feels slightly sore afterwards.
