Red face

32wks and still in OBLIQUE position?!

I'm now 32wks and 4 days along and my baby girl is still in the OBLIQUE position. This is my first baby so I'm not sure what to expect but my doctor says that she'll give baby until 34 wks to get into my pelvis. I asked what will happen if she's not down there by then and my doc said that we will get another ultrasound and take it from there. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm fighting the urge to google it,as I don't want to get too worried.

When I lye on my side to sleep at night I feel like I;m going to crush her head. I wish she would just move already. I can't seem to stop worrying if she has enough room to move and grow in there. Everyone tells me that my bump is much too small for 32wks, but my doc says that I'm in the normal measurements.

I guess I'll just have to wait as she is the one calling the shots now....

Anyone else in the same boat?

Mine was breech until 32 weeks (I think). They were going to let me go to 36 weeks, do a scan and then try to turn her externally (OUCH). Fortunately, she turned on her own. It is my understanding that babies will get into position at any time, even right before labor. You can do some things to turn her. Google turning breech babies. Good luck!

they move a lot - i wouldnt panic yet. Mine was head down last week and now i'm convinced he's sideways again as I feel him kicking and proding on both sides of my belly at the same time (not sure if that means he can be head down?...I cant work it out!!) and like you I can feel myself squishing bits when I lay on my side.

There's lots of time yet. Wriggly creatures these babies.
