Yes generally. Your bump will go hard, and depending on if baby's head is near the cervix, you may or may not feel mild-moderate period like pains.
As many women described, the bump gets quite hard. I get a bit of a head rush, and I loose my breath a bit, and the more engaged the baby's head is on the cervix the more period like pain you may feel.
You may get tightening all over your bump, or you might have it just low, or just high. Everyone is different.

Again, it depends. I've had BH's since before week 20 (about 17 weeks). I'd get like one a week at that point. It gradually increased over time, and now I'm in an almost perpetual BH cycle every 20 mins to 30 mins. Once in a while it will get close together like 8-10 mins apart. But that's just me. I have a sensitive uterus... even someone playing with my belly button will set off a BH.
