Doctors certificate to travel

Hi girls!!

I am off to seville next week for a nice relaxing break with DH!!

I am flying with ryan air & they require a docs cert if travelling after 28 weeks.
He has given me one- all it says on there is how pregnant I am & that he believes I am fit to travel!!

Is that ok or should he have put something else on there?
Pls let me know as I still have time to get him to amend- I did pay £15 for it afterall!!!

I think you need to ring the airline to be sure but I think all they need to know is that you're fit to fly.

I had to get a Docs certificate to fly not long ago, and all it said on it was how many weeks I was and that I had no complications with my pregnancy.

Airlines differ with their cut off dates for flying, I was flying Lufthansa and they say 32 weeks before you need a docs cert. My doc decided to write me one anyway and then charged me 5 euros for the privilege!! Still cheaper than your 15 quid though - what a rip off!

Like Toria said, I would double check with Ryan Air just to make sure thats all they need on the certificate. Enjoy your hols!

Just make sure you take your maternity notes with you. I went with ryanair at 26 weeks, flight wasn't too bad, a little cramped but it was only for a couple of hours. Have fun. xx

Angelica, have a lovely time. Please you're going
I've spoken to a few girls who have travelled after the cut off and taken a doc's cert with them and no-one has even looked at them so I shouldn't worry too much.
Also, this might be a bit random but when I was a rep, there was a doctor onsite at Rhodes airport for writing certs. Maybe every airport has one? lol
Have a great time
