I'm Currently Feeling: | Nursing Bras! Ok i cant get my head around this.
Throughout my pregnancy i have just been wearing normal underwired bras, mainly the t-shirt type ones. This is probably messing up my milk ducts or whatever it is but i have only gone from an A to a B so thinking there is not much there to damage really! i looked for non underwired sports/maternity bras but they were so uncomfy and didnt fit right.
Anyway i know i need to get some nursing bras as i really really want to breastfeed but how on earth do i know what cup size to get? they do have cup sizes dont they? they arn't just universal or anything?
I mean once the milk comes in you end up like a playboy girl dont you?
How is everyone else going about it?
Im wondering if i should just get some of those like supported vest things initially until the milk kicks in. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i would just get a couple of the sport vest ones and then get measured afterwards...I changed size dramatically straight after the birth of my son and then settled about two weeks after... |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i would go to Bravissimo instead of Mothercare to get measured.. most of the people in mothercare are not actually trained to fit bras. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I used to be a trained bra fitter in my local mothercare (we were all trained!). If you'd been to see me I'd have told you off!!! You NEED to be measured for a nursing bra about a month before you give birth. You may well find you need to measured again a couple of weeks afterwards. You can get this done in motercare, debenhams, m and s etc. Cant do anything about the underwire now but it can do more damage if you have smaller breasts (sorry) |

| I am still wearing underwires, but I went from a 34G to a 38HH!! All the usual places I went - M&S, Mothercare, etc told me they do not carry my size.
I get fitted in a small bra shop in London and was told to come in about 4-6 weeks before the baby is due for a nursing bra. Have you looked to see if there are any bra/lingerie shops that can fit you? | | | | Status: Offline

If its any help for you i know matalan carry a range for your size but again they are mainly t-shirt type bras.
Im a 38 too and they only seem to stock a handful of that size if any in A's will chek on the B's though. |
