Unhappy

Can baby still turn?

Not having a great day today. Had a fall this morning and pulled a ligament in my foot, again. It is one of the most painful things i have ever done in my life... but hey, labour will be worse. I have to rest up now till the swelling goes down on my foot, a good start to maternity leave! Good news though is that my little girl is ok.

I was just wondering, is it possible for my little one to turn so late in pregnancy? Reason i'm asking is because she has hiccups not so long ago and i normally feel them down near my pelvis but today i've felt them up at the top of my stomach. This has really upset me, i'm hoping she hasn't gone breech

Yes, its possible for your LO to still turn. They will continue to check during your visits. Sorry about your foot. Sounds awful. Hope you feel better soon.

My LOs hiccups jerk her whole body sometimes. Sometimes I feel it at the top of my bump, sometimes at the bottom. She is definately engaged fully so I have no doubt that it is just the fact she is so big now and her whole body is moving when she has hiccups.

Babies turn on their own right before birth! My sister was breach until the day, and moved on her own....but she was my twin, so i dont know if that is differnt.

My LO's hiccups are always in my groin, but the other day, they went up to ribs and then moved back down...he was wiggling the whole time. So i guess he is still moving round!

Though it's possible for LO to still turn this late in the game, I have heard it is one of the most painful things you'll experience. You would no doubt have felt a movement of that magnitude.
