I have fallen in love with Lemon chewy Gaviscon! They get stuck in my teeth which is GROSS but they're lovely and they work so quickly.

I have horrible heart burn, I have had it since 2nd trimester. I get it at least 3 times a day. I eat Tums like candy and I was taking Zantac (prescribed by doctor) but it takes a really long time for it to kick in so I gave up on that and went back to tums. If I am really desperate, I down milk (plain or chocolate). I can't wait for this side effect to go away, it's driving me insane. I would have to say it is my biggest complaint because it happens every day, multiple times a day.

Milk seems to help me too, full fat tho. That and chewing those Lemon Gaviscon.

I'm exactly the same way but I didn't give up on the Zantac. I take that and use the Tums for break through heartburn. I was the same way with my first baby. It makes me cough and nearly throw up it gets so bad sometimes. They say its because the baby has hair, which I know is just an old wives tale but my first DD had a head full of hair 2 inches long. Lack of sleep and heartburn are my biggest pregnancy complaints!
