| Any of you planning to go abroad with newborn? Hi gals, I've sneaked over from the TTC section, I hope you don't mind
My bro's wedding is in Mauritius in June next year. I'm very close to my bro and his fiance so I'd like to go.
If I were lucky enough to fall pregnant in the next 2 months (we've been trying for 6 months already, argh!), it would mean we'd be taking a newborn to Mauritius with us (naturally, we will stop trying for a few months cos know I can't travel in 3rd trimester and wouldn't want to take baby out at under 2 months).
I read online 2 months upwards is fine. Anyone planning on holidaying with their baby at such an early stage? Bit concerned. x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | As you can see, I am due very soon. My DH is from the UK, and his cousin is getting married on 8-8-8. We would like to go, and may do so, and our LO will just barely be 2 months, if it comes on time. Anyway, my best friend traveled with her son when he was that age, and swears it is sooo much easier, just pop the baby on the boob or bottle going up and coming down in the plane, and most of the time they sleep through the flight. Just make sure they have their vaccines. |

| We'll be flying to France with the baby when she's about 6 weeks old. As far as I've heard from others, it's easier as well as they sleep most of the time. I only have a short trip to go, but I have a friend who took her 6 week old to Australia from England, and she said it was a piece of cake. It was her 2 year old that caused all of the problems! |
