Getting worried now!!

Hi, i'm 36 weeks pregnant and now i'm starting to worry a lot about labour. This is my second pregnancy as i have a 4 year old son, but i'm more worried this time round then the first.

I know everyones experiences are different but i would be gratefull of any input on second labours.

Thanx

Yeah i have been told it's a lot easier and quicker the second time round. I'm just worried that my OH won't be there with me and i'll be left to go through it alone.

And what if i don't make it to the hospital in time?
I have just moved and i'm no where near my mums or anyones so its all getting a bit scary

Sorry if i moaning a bit xxx

I only have one lil pumpkin but I just wanted to wish you good luck. I'm sure you will be fine. I think your worries are normal because you know more now then you did before. You'll be ok.

Me too! That scares me the most this time! This is my second pregnancy. I'm feeling a lot more anxious this time because of where I have to give birth

This is going to be my first LO, but I am starting to get TERRIFIED about labor. I don't want drugs and I want to be able to handle it, but I'm so scared that I won't be able to. I'm scared DH won't get home from work in time, that I'll be alone when I go into labor, gah...EVERYTHING!

Oh thank god some other people have the same worries as me!! My boyfriend thought it was hilarous some of the home videos woman have put on utube of them giving birth. I didn't find them as hilarious as you can imagine!

I watched a tiny bit of 1 and nearly threw up! Now i'm shitting myself and don't want to have to go through it all! Looks like the most awful experience, although maybe I should have watched it about 9 months ago as I only have about 2 weeks left!!

But hey... back to the normal topic, yeah I also am worried about getting to the hospital, although I aint so worried about my boyfriend missing it because he only works 10 minutes away and my mum lives literally round the corner from my house!!

I suppose after all the worry and scary bits it'll all be worth it in the end, the only thing that seems nice about the birth is holding your baby afterwards lol.

(As I guess you can tell, this is my 1st! Someone please tell me it isn't as bad as I think it is!!) lol

Alex and Bump xxx
