I've started washing babygros and vests but i am going to wait to wash proper outfits until she's here, as she may be too big for some of them or something and doubt shops will exchange without tags on.

I plan to wash my 0-3 and new born clothes right off (but a lot of those are hand me downs that family has given me). If I were you I'd wash what you think you'll need the first couple of weeks!

I dont think shops will take things back unless they've got tags on.

Ive just washed newborn stuff so far and its all unisex. But Im copnvinced he's a boy (he wasn't shy!) so the though of having to take all of the stuff we have back never crossed my mind!

i'm not washing any pink until she's here. I'm just not very optimistic im afraid. So many people have commented about how the scan could be wrong so i've kept all the tags and receipts and i've only washed the whites and creams. So she'll not be a girly girl until shes here and home i suppose.

Best to be safe than for all them clothes to go to waste though :-)

I love maternity leave :-D
