Go and make yourself either a really cold drink,a coffee or something fizzy to drink and sit with your feet up watching tv for say 20 mins and see if you feel anything.
Sometimes mine has lazy days or sometimes the sensations feel different or sometimes i have been too busy to notice.
Try not to worry and give it a go.
Or you should phone your midwife and see what they recommend

There is nothing wrong with that your baby is only resting, i use to poke at my baby so he would move or place a very cold object on your belly that should wake the baby up.

i agree. drink a big glass of cold water and eat something sugary ( A lion bar works wonders) then lie on your left side for half an hour or more and see. Unless you're at work in an office in which case just drink the water and eat the sugar!! (you boss might worry if you're laying on the floor!!)

if nothing then i'd call the docs for peace of mind.

good luck, keep us updated!

My baby has her quiet days. I think at our stage they are supposed to slow down a little as there getting bigger. As the others said try something cold or sugary, mine goes wild when i have cornflakes lol. And she tends to move loads at 8am and 9pm the most.

I'd go to the MW's if your worried x

This happened to me over the weekend. Normally heīll start wriggling around in the morning when I wake up and esp after Iīve eaten my brekky, but on this particular day I didnīt feel any movement til late afternoon. I think he was just having a lazy day and couldnīt be bothered, or was too hot!

Iīve felt loads of movement since then. Like the others said, lay down for a bit and stick your feet up and eat some choccy. That usually does the trick for me.

If you are still really worried then go to the Docs. Better to be on the safe side.

My LO has her quiet days and moments as well. Sometimes I get to the evening and think oh I haven't felt her move (sometimes I think this is simply from me not paying attention--others from her being in an odd position or resting).

I just asked my MW if it was normal cause my LO hasn't been very active at all for a few days now. She said as long as you can count 10 lots of movement in 12 hours whether it's kicking, hiccups or just general moving around then the baby is fine, it's probably just getting used to not having very much room. However if you can't count 10 movements in 12 hours you should ring the doctor x
