Question

In the sun all day (doing any harm?)

I'm not a sun person. I'm white as a sheet normally but today I've just wanted to lay in it all day. I've got a tan just from this morning, not a very good one, I guess I'm probably the same colour as everyone else now lol! Anyway, I'm not doing LO any harm am I? My bump is covered I'm not laying out there in a bikini scaring the world?

nah you will be fine. Drink loads of water and keep popping into the shade. Think about it, women have babies in hot countries all the time!

You might give birth to a slightly tan baby, that's all.

The weather has been beautiful lately but be careful if you're going to be out in the sun for long. I got sun stroke on Saturday and its not nice at all. I didn't realize how dehydrated i was until i collapsed and was taken to hospital. That'll teach me to be out in the sun for too long.

Make sure you put some sun lotion on and drink lots

fine as long as you are hydrated as the girls above said.

I saw an interesting fact, babies who are exposed to more light (i.e. bare bellies in the sun) develop their eye sight quicker because the uterus is more lit up!
