Question

Itching arms and rash?

Hey all, hope you're all doing well and bumps are doing nicely!

Something I've been wondering about for a few days now is this itchy rash I've got thats appeared on my fore arms and spreads up to my shoulders if I get hot or go out in the sun, and sometimes even just touching my shoulders like when my hair isn't tied back can bring on the itching, and its really annoying me!
Now I know we've had pretty hot weather this past few days and I have been out in the sun a fair bit but I've never had a heat rash before so I don't know if its simply this OR if it could be something relating to pregnancy?!
I don't want to ring mw if its nothing to worry about but I just don't know!!

Any ideas? x

Ahh thankyou - I hoped/thought it would be something like heat rash and have so far today stayed indoors even though I REALLY want to get out in the garden and enjoy sunshine lol!!
I'll pop down to the chemist and grab some e45 cream then I think!

Thanks hun x

if it stings slightly when you scratch it, then itches even more, it will be heat rash.

If it is just really itchy and looks a bit like nettle rash which appears and dissapears in different places - then it is hives which can mean allergy, such as hayfever or even something random - hives get very common in pregnancy.

Either way, a cool shower or bath should soothe it.

I get mental hives all over my body and it drives me nuts! Nothing works for it as i need medician i am not allowed when preg

if it gets persistent, see your doc who can prescribe some cream
