Oh is home from sea after three months away on Sunday (as if you hadnt heard already!!) and I am wondering what having sex will be like as I will be 33 weeks.
I know it is perfectly normal and natural to do it whilst pregnant and there are no obvious reasons why we shouldnt but....
(Please accept my apologies if TMI!!) I am worried that he will damage my membranes because no matter how gentle he is, he is very big!
I really want to keep him happy and my libido hasnt completely dissapeared. Are there any other woman out there who had a long break and started again after about 33 weeks?
I spend so much time stressing about the fact that most his colleagues have bed buddies whilst at sea no matter what they have waiting for them at home, and I don't want to lead him to do something like that!! One woman i met was pregnant, just married and very happy with a senior doctor who slept with the cheapest girl on board ship everynight behind her back!! Surely three months at sea, three months at home and then three months at sea again running on dry will be enough for any man to be tempted??
Instinct says he would never do it....but i am so paranoid and i want to keep him happy!
Probably side entry is going to be most comfortable for you if he is big. Rear entry will probably be too deep no matter how gentle he is. And you can never go wrong using your mouth on him! A lot! What guy can resist that??? Most of all, try to relax. You are likely to be pretty tight and swollen down there so relaxation is key. You might also want to have some lubrication on hand for that reason. You are likely to feel more virgin-like than you did when you were a virgin! Take it slow at first. If you give it a few minutes of going slow, it will be worth it! I'm sure he will appreciate everything you can do and can prepare for.
Don't let what some scummy guys do out at sea worry you. I'm sure your OH loves you and would never hurt you like that!

You're welcome- I hope i made sense with 'side entry' and 'rear entry'- guess I might as well explain, lol. By side entry, I mean, lying on your side and him coming from behind. That's probably going to be the most comfortable. Rear entry, I meant, is what we call doggy style, on your hands and knees. That will be pretty intense so you may want to avoid it.
I will also second the lubrication idea. I find it really helps us. I also prefer to be on top. That way I have total control of speed, depth and such. Just take it slow, and you guys will be just fine. I also agree about relaxing. I actually use sex as abit of practice for consciously relaxing my pelvic floor. It helps with the sex, and it will help with labor!

I agree with pepperflake on the "side entry", its definitely most comfortable.. I dunno why I waited so long to try it...missionary in third tri is not fun!
And dont let the sea scum thing worry you! Your man doesnt look like one!
