back from midwife....

hi girls,

ive been to see midwife for my 28 weeks apointment.

babys head is down,my blood pressure is ok.
and she said baby is the right size for my dates.

oooh im sooo happy.

im going to the NHS parentcraft class next saturday and i was abit worried about it, i didnt want to go if it was gonna be a day of breathing excercises *spelling* (pregnancy brain) but i asked midwife and she said that they dont do them anynore as it doesnt benefit anyone. its better if the midwife goes through your breathing with me when im in labour.
so now im looking forward to next saturday. x x

sorry pointless thread x

Hi Mrs N...Good appointment then really? Enjoy the classes..mine start this month too. Have 2 evening ones and my OH is coming home for them. Then in July have 3 morning ones...still only 2 hours each but must cover other stuff. At the evening ones the leaflet says to bring pillow...they must know how tired I get! lol

As you are slightly ahead of me will use your knowledge. Do you know, do we get any more scans from now onwards? I'm not really worried worried but I am slightly cos I keep seeing posts about things like low amniotic fluid...but how do they know if they don't scan you...how would they know there was a problem? Aaargh!

So, if your baby's head is down does that mean it won't spin round so it's at top any more? I'm sure mine's still doing somersaults. But maybe not. Oh I'm so rubbish at this now we're in third tri...second was so easy! All my questions were in books...now I can't seem to find any answers or maybe I'm just brain dead?

babys head is down but not engaged so im guessing that LO could still move.

with the scan question,
no we dont get any more scans unless they think baby isnt growing properly or if they think there is a problem.

my parentcraft class is only for 1 day. its at the hospital but its 10am until 3pm.
